Vintage wooden desk 1950s

Coen de Vries is known as one of the pioneers of Dutch modernism after the Second World War. With his company Devo in The Hague and his close involvement in the 'Goed Wonen' programme (a monthly magazine aimed at stimulating modernism in Dutch living rooms), he introduced modern, functional furniture with a timeless design to European interiors. This 85 cm wide desk is an excellent example of his style. Today it can be used in living rooms, for example, to have a decorative function and also a small work space for your computer.
