Pair of vintage pine sconces by Gunnar Næss for Høvik Verk Norway 1970s

Pair of unique and special wall lamps made of pine wood. This pine lamp was designed by Gunnar Næss in 1969 and produced by Høvik Verk in the 1970s. Gunnar Næss was both an interior architect and designer and made this model W3076 mainly for large buildings such as offices and hotels. Today, it is more difficult to obtain and looks great in any room. Næss has been awarded in several competitions, including a gold medal for Norway's contribution to the Munich craft fair in 1967.
