Published in 1983 by the firm Alessi. Richard Sapper, born May 30, 1932 in Munich, died December 31, 2015 in Milan, was a German designer based in Italy, in Milan. Considered one of the most important designers of his generation. 1932 - 2015Richard Sapper was a German industrial designer who was born in Munich in 1932 and died in Milan in 2015. After studying engineering in Munich, he worked for several design companies, including Mercedes-Benz and Siemens, before becoming an independent designer in the 1960s.
