About this vintage design furniture
An eye-catching chaise longue, model "LC4", designed by Le Corbusier and manufactured by Cassina in Italy around 1980. The piece features a rectangular black metal base with a rounded chrome metal frame that holds the black leather upholstered seat. The round frame can move on the base, making it a versatile piece that can be placed in many different living room positions. It also has a matching black leather headrest attached to the seat. The leather belt ties are a fantastic finishing touch. The unique design of this piece makes it very attractive and eye catching in any setting. The signature, manufacturer and serial number are all engraved into the frame (as shown in the photos). The original label is still attached. It remains in very good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a nice patina.
