Large mid-century modern ceramic table lamp by Einar Johansen for Soholm This table lamp was designed by Einar Johansen and produced by Soholm Stentoj in Denmark in the 1960s. Beautiful glaze in different colors from brown to light blue. The base has a graphic relief. The lamp has been rewired with a switch and has a new socket and shade. New wiring and new European plugs. Søholm was founded in 1835, in Rønne, Bornholm which is famous for its pottery and fine ceramics, making it one of the oldest ceramic factories in Bornholm, until its closure in 1996. The Danish ceramic artist Einar Johansen worked at Søholm from 1958 to 1966. He designed and created a wide range of stoneware, where his "blue series" is today highly sought after by collectors.

Einar Hoffmann Johansen (1905-1992) was a Norwegian industrial designer. He is best known for his work in the 1950s and 1960s for the Norum company, where he designed numerous products, including televisions and radios.
