Vintage Leather Amanta Modular Sofa by Mario Bellini for B&B, Italy 1966

Modular sofa model “Amanta” designed by Mario Bellini for B&B Italia in 1966. The white shells are made of fiberglass with inside leather cushions in a pearl or ivory white color. This sofa is connectable, and the sofa can be used in different ways as a sofa and separate easy chairs (see photos). Dimensions per chair: H x W x D 69 x 81 x 84 cm seat height is 39 cm. Marked: Mario Bellini for B&B Italia, March 1979. The condition is still very good. The sofa was reupholstered four years ago with very beautiful leather. One chair has a hairline crack on one corner and one cushion has a scratch on the side (see photos). The crack has been reinforced on the inside and is therefore full functional again. The scratch on the cushion is not visible when you put two items together. The fiberglass shells show a little bit fading.
