About this vintage design furniture

Easy chair from the 1960s, designed by Elsa & Nordahl Solheim for Rybo, Norway. The cantilever base is made from dark stained bentwood with a stable black fabric, on which the black leather cushion is seated loosely. Inconceivably comfy and justly a classic. Good general condition with slight traces of usage like slight abrasions on base and leather.

Elsa Solheim and Nordahl Solheim are two Norwegian designers who worked together under the name Solheim Design Studio. Elsa Solheim was born in 1922 and died in 2012, while Nordahl Solheim was born in 1919 and died in 2014.
