About this vintage design furniture
This elegant rosewood Fristho chair was designed and produced in the 1950s. Fristho was a Dutch furniture factory that produced furniture until 1978. After the difficult post-war years, furniture was produced that corresponded to the "modern mid-century" style. With designs by the American William Watting and the Dane Inger Klingenberg, among others, and with the collaboration of Kho Liang Ie, Scandinavian and contemporary design was systematically chosen. A design that is clearly reflected in this elegant chair. The chair is made of solid rosewood and the seat is upholstered with a mixed beige woollen fabric. The frame is in very good condition, without scratches or damage. Dimensions: width 48 cm, height 75 cm and depth 45 cm.
