Niels and Eva Koppel from the 1950s: twelve Danish dining chairs from Slagelse MøbelfabrikRare set of 12 dining chairs with oak frames and teak backs, designed by Niels Koppel around 1955 for Slagelse Møbelfabrik.The chairs feature organic Niels Koppels shapes and large backs that provide comfort and personality of their own.The chairs have been checked and refinished by our cabinetmaker and are in excellent condition. About the designer
Henning KOPPEL
Henning Koppel (1918-1981) was a Danish designer best known for his work for the famous Danish brand Georg Jensen. Born in Copenhagen, Koppel studied sculpture at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts before turning to design.
