About this vintage design furniture
This later generation Wilkhahn Delta 2000 lounge chair, with fully leather-covered armrests, in a warm brown leather shade, brushed aluminum and with brown shells, is in good condition. The leather of the seat and backrest is flawless, the corners of the armrests have bumps, the plastic shells and the aluminum feet only have minimal signs of wear. The chair is rotatable. The Delta 2000 model was designed in 1968 by the Delta group. A classic in the 60s design. More than 100 years ago, the Wilkhahn company was founded by Friedrich Hahne and Christian Wilkening as a chair factory. In 1946 contact was established with the Deutsche Werkstätten with the designers Georg Leowald and Herbert Hirche, who worked in the Bauhaus tradition. Since then, Wilkhahn has been one of the premium manufacturers of office furniture.
