About this vintage design furniture
This pair of side tables was designed by José Espinho and produced by Móveis Sousa Braga and Móveis Olaio in Portugal. The "Model Export", was specially designed for the Estoril Sol Hotel near Lisbon in the 1970s. The structure is made of rosewood and kiaat, and the roof is made of a special Portuguese marble called "Pedra-azul de Cascais". It is in very good condition, with the wood and the structure fully restored, the marble is in original condition.

About the designer
José ESPINHO
José Espinho was a Portuguese designer born in 1926 and died in 1979. He studied at the Higher School of Fine Arts in Porto and began his career working as an industrial designer for the Vista Alegre Atlantis company, which specialized in porcelain production.
