About this vintage design furniture
The modern Scandinavian teak secretary designed by Johannes Sorth for Bornholm Møbelfabrik in Nexø, Denmark in the 1960s. The upper part includes two adjustable conical shelves. In the middle you will find a sliding desk, a set of two sliding doors that reveal additional storage, including three interior drawers, four mail slots and a locker with an adjustable shelf. The back offers three dovetail drawers with carved solid teak drawer handles. This beautiful piece rests on a base with delicately tapered legs.

About the designer
Johannes SORTH
Johannes Sorth was a renowned Danish designer who was born in 1937 and died in 2017. He is best known for his work in industrial design, particularly for his elegant modern furniture designs. Sorth studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen, graduating in 1963.
