About this vintage design furniture
Modern mid-century swivel armchair, fully restored and upholstered, Germany, 1950s. This chair has strong similarities with the famous lounge chairs by Ray and Charles Eames or with Martin Stoll's Giroflex office chair, but the original designer of the listed object is unknown. The piece originates from Germany. The classified chair has been re-upholstered in olive green full grain aniline leather, with new feathers and foam padding. A new comfortable seat and leather upholstered armrests. All on a heavy chrome-plated metal swivel frame that shows only slight traces of use. An important design detail is the curved rosewood shell of the backrest and backrest. The construction also shows the inevitable influences of the German Bauhaus heritage. Seat height 40 cm
