About this vintage design furniture
Magnificent Scandinavian table by the designer Johannes Andersen, published by Hans Bech in 1968. This table can be used as a dining room table or as a meeting table. It can accommodate up to 12 people when extended (250 x 130cm). In fact, in addition to its 130cm diameter, it has two original rosewood extensions, each 60cm long. The Rio rosewood used is of exceptional quality. Its veining is superb It is marked by a magnificent openwork structural foot that opens to accommodate the extensions. Both the sturdy belt and the base are also made of rosewood. The solid oak sliders are proof of a quality consistent with the whole. Both the table and the extensions have been completely restored and varnished. The table can be locked in a round format with a metal clamp. Finally, oak trunnions facilitate the installation of the extensions.
