About this vintage design furniture
The bookcase was made in the 1960s. It was produced by a well-known Danish manufactory Hundevad & Co. The structure is covered with ash veneer. The surface after refreshing. Inside the space has been filled with practical shelves. Shelves are adjustable in height. The shelving is an ideal solution for a large collection of books to be used in a small living space. Additionally, it has a great function as a rack for collector’s items. Condition: The surface of the bookcase after conservation. Visible small scratches, upholstery and defects that have been repaired. The bookcase has a cable hole cut out in the back plate on the left side (the bookcase was also used for audio equipment). Larger traces of use are always shown in the pictures. Product prepared directly for use. For safety reasons, the transport furniture may have shelves pulled out. Assembly should not be a problem. In case of any doubts please contact us, we will send you an instructional video. Shelves intended for heavy loads should be additionally fastened to the wall with quick assembly wall plugs.

Poul Hundevad was a Danish designer born on April 21, 1917 in Randers and died on April 2, 2011 in Aarhus. He is best known for his teak furniture designs of the 1950s and 1960s.
