About this vintage design furniture

Brass and glass ceiling light with six lovely amber coloured glass domes model L64 designed by Hans-Agne Jakobsson for Markaryd Sweden around the 1950’s. Base in brass with zig zag patterns. Measures: ca 60 cmH x 28 cmD. Good vintage condition. Hans- Agne Jakobsson (1919-2009 ) was a Swedish interior decorator and furniture designer most active between the 1950s and 1970s. Hans- Agne Jakobssons lighting received great international attention. He was experimenting with a wide range of materials as brass, iron, glass, fabric, and wood shavings, Jakobsson mastered both the direction and color of the light.
