About this vintage design furniture
Set of 4 dining chairs, model Totem, by Torstein Nilsen for Westnofa, Norway. black wooden fram with feathering slats back, between the slats black wooden balls. Original mauve fabric furnish. 2 chairs with arm rests:width 55,5 cm en 2 chairs without arm rests: width 54 cm. Seat height 51 cm. Height arm rests 65,2 cm. 1980’s. In very good condition with minimal wear of use like a lighter spot on one seat. Price is for the set of 4 chairs.

About the designer
Torstein NILSEN
Torstein Nilsen is a Norwegian designer born in 1950. He studied at the National Academy of Craft and Art Industry in Oslo, graduating in 1975. After graduating, he worked for several design and architecture companies in Norway, including the Ekornes furniture company. He has also worked as a freelance designer, participating in numerous interior design and furniture projects for companies and individuals in Norway and abroad.
