Magnificent armchair in metallic grey and black leather from Jehs + Laub for Fritz Hansen This armchair is from the Space series by Fritz Hansen, Denmark. The Space series is designed by the German designer duo Jehs+Laub. The duo is inspired by the human body and nature's ability to design itself. Their ambition is always to make things simple and not too laborious. The Space series is based on the idea of the comfortable feeling of sitting in one hand. The lines of the design resemble the paths, roads and fields of a landscape. The shell is made of injection-moulded fibre-reinforced lacquered plastic with front padding. The swivel base is made of lacquered steel, with transparent foot caps and a spacer block between seat and base.
