Torparen by G A Berg for Br. Anderssons 1940s. - A bend wooden chair in braided fabric. Always just right. Always just as popular. The chair is formed after your body to give best possible comfort. Measures: 72 cmW x 108 cmH x 69 cmD. Seat height: 41 cm Gustav Axel Berg was the designer who in 1939 came to launch the concept of "Swedish modern" in New York. Already two years earlier, during the World Exhibition in Paris, he had been one of the leading figures in Swedish funkis. Hans is known for his anatomical sitting curves and innovative bendwood furniture.
