1950s Danish Alfred Christensen expandable teak "boomerang" dining table by Slagelse Møbelfabrik The expandable boomerang table feature a simple but very elegant organic curved tabletop with two elegantly concealed jeafs under the tabletop and a boomerang shaped frame and legs. Each of the two leafs is 50 cm 19.7 in. wide giving the table a total width of 249 cm. 98 in. The table has been overlooked and refinished by our cabinetmaker and is in very good condition.

About the designer
Alfred CHRISTENSEN
Alfred Christensen (1903-1980) was an American industrial designer best known for his work for the Knoll furniture company in the 1940s and 1950s. He was born in Boston, Massachusetts, and studied at the Rhode Island School of Design and the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris.
