Mid-century rattan & bamboo pendant lamp 1960s

Exceptional, mid-century, vintage, rattan & bamboo pendant lamp from France, circa 1960’s. Piece has a circular, rattan ceiling mount with a short, rattan chain, an interior shade with a type of linen-textured parchment paper, surrounded by a beautiful, cylindrical, golden-blonde, bamboo and rattan structure, featuring some bentwood, heart-shaped forms. This piece is in excellent original condition as it has been well-taken care of over the years. ~ Minor traces of age and use, commensurate with time. Patina consistent with age and time (see photos.) ~ Extremely easy to mount and emits a warm, golden glow, when lit. ~ It has been gently dusted to preserve the original condition, superb patina and rich colors. ~ Piece has been tested and functions perfectly (see photos.) Whether used in a bedroom, entryway, small nook, living room, den, entry way, on a patio, etc., this wonderful, retro lamp is the perfect accent piece to compliment a mid-century, retro-bohemian or rustic- contemporary setting.
