About this vintage design furniture
Danish armchair GM11 designed by Svend Åge Eriksen for Glostrup Møbelfabrik, 1960s. This chair has beautifully shaped armrests and is entirely made of solid teak and upholstered with black vinyl. The condition of this chair is still very good with normal traces of use and wear. Dimensions: h x w x d 77 x 62 x 55 cm, the seat height 45 cm. This chair is often wrongly attributed to Erik Kirkegaard.

About the designer
Svend Aage ERIKSEN
Svend Aage Eriksen (1918-2002) was a renowned Danish designer, known for his innovative and functional work in furniture and lighting. Born in Copenhagen, he studied at the city's Royal Academy of Fine Arts and worked for various design companies before opening his own studio in 1954.
