About this vintage design furniture

A unique lamp based on two quadrants connected to each other. The characteristic enameled metal screen in the shape of an arc creates a diffused, matched light, ideally above the dining table or kitchen table. Thanks to the unique, timeless design and the range of colors and sizes, the pendant lamp Semi is extremely versatile and suitable for both private and public spaces. The semi was designed in 1968 as a product of a creative partnership between Claire Bonderup and Torsten Thorup. Bonderup and Thorup wanted to produce a lamp with sharp, clean lines and a geometric shape. Their design was submitted to the competition at the School of Architecture and won the first prize. In the 80s, the lamp was a great success and became the best-selling Danish design and achieved global recognition and icon status. dimensions: diameter: 38cm height: 20cm The lamps are in good condition, have signs of use in the form of small scratches and slight discoloration from below. These are the original copies produced by Fog og Mørup.
