About this vintage design furniture
A 1950's Ernest Race DA1 armchair with a metal frame and beech splayed legs. The chair has been fully restored. The legs have been sanded and refinished. The frame has been stripped and reupholstered using traditional techniques and materials, in keeping with the original design/sketches. A beautiful tweed wool from Bute fabrics in dark blue has been used as the top cover.
