About this vintage design furniture
Abraham A. Patijn designed Poly Z line of furniture for Zijlstra’s Meubelen i the 50’s. His task was to modernise the factory;s portfolio. Light, elegant furniture had to fit to the new postwar interiors and replaced old heavy style. This pair is reupholstered and restored.

About the designer
Abraham A. PATIJN
Abraham A. Patijn is a contemporary Dutch designer, born on November 4, 1979 in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. After studying industrial design at the Design Academy Eindhoven, he founded his own design studio in Rotterdam in 2006, where he works mainly on furniture and lighting projects.
