About this vintage design furniture

The elegant Radiohus VL45 hanging lamp Louis Poulsen was designed for the Radiohus building in Copenhagen in the 1940s. The creator of both the lamp and the building itself is the architect Vilhelm Lauritzen, known for his functionalist architecture in Denmark. The VL45 Radiohus lamp has a beautiful round shade of white opalescent glass that filters soft, uniform light. The hole at the bottom allows the light to be directed downwards. The VL45 lamp is timeless, ideal for both general lighting and a dining table. The lamp is in very good condition, it has been cleaned and polished, a new approx. 5 meter long braided cable has been installed. Please note that the items we sell are used items, often 40-50 years old, because of this they have traces of use, which can not always be seen in the pictures.
