Rare set of 2 saucers (Ø 20 cm) and 2 bowls (Ø 14 cm) from the iconic 'Mesto' series, designed by Václav Zajíc for Sklo Union in the 1970s. Made of clear, thick pressed glass with a geometric pattern reminiscent of a city map. The heavy, textured glass and raised edges give this set a sculptural look.
Perfect as a serving set or decorative object in a minimalist, eclectic or retro interior. An extraordinary piece of glass history from former Czechoslovakia.
