Product description
A characterful set of 6 dining chairs from the 1960s, with beautifully patinated oak frames and original woven papercord seat and back surfaces. These chairs exude all Danish Modern design: minimalist, refined and infused with craftsmanship.
The elegant lines and handcrafted joints attest to a high quality, typical of designers such as Ejner Larsen, Aksel Bender Madsen and Poul M. Volther, to whom this set is attributed in various sources. As there is no conclusive evidence, the set is sold under "designer unknown."
To preserve the authentic look, we have replaced only a few broken cords with naturally patinated papercord. The chairs are in fully functional condition, with a beautiful patina that only time can give.

The chairs have a nice patina as they have discolored over the years. They are fully functional as we were only able to replace the broken strands of papercord with matching patinated rope. Otherwise light scratches and signs of use to be expected with their age.
