Beautiful red and orange Murano glass vase 1970
A variety of vintage heart-shaped vases.
Most were inspired by Per Lutken's mythical crystal model for Holmegaard. We also find it under the Italian publisher Murano by Maria Christina Hamel for Salviati.
The one we offer is in Murano glass, but it's difficult to attribute it to Maria Christina Hamel because the heart shape is less pronounced. It is, however, highly decorative and, with its thick glass, very well made.
We haven't found an equivalent in terms of color, and it would seem that only a limited number were produced.
With its heart shape, it will be a decorative asset simply placed like this on a sideboard or side table, and can accommodate small fresh or dried flowers.
