Vintage Danish seating set consisting of a 3-seater sofa and 2 matching armchairs, designed by renowned Danish designer Ole Wanscher and manufactured by PJ Denmark in the 1960s. This sofa is a wonderful example of Danish design, characterized by clean lines, functionality and craftsmanship.
Ole Wanscher (1903-1985) was an influential Danish architect and furniture designer, known for his elegant and timeless designs. A student of Kaare Klint, Wanscher drew inspiration from classical forms and foreign influences, resulting in furniture that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing.
Organically shaped teak frame with beautifully rounded edges, graceful wood joints and a beautifully visible wood grain. The set is upholstered in a cream and white high quality suede fabric.
A beautiful set in very clean condition. The set is marked and numbered.
