Roger Capron (1922-2006) won the Grand Prix International de la Céramique in 1970. A gifted ceramist and visionary, he contributed to the golden age of ceramics with Picasso, Derval and Picault. He was notably commissioned to redecorate the Byblos Hotel in St Tropez.
