Dieter Rams gilt als einer der einflussreichsten Designer des 20. Jahrhunderts. Das modulare Design der 620-Serie ermöglicht vielseitige Konfigurationen und ist ein herausragendes Beispiel für deutsches Design und Handwerkskunst, sowie eine Ikone des Minimalismus. Dieses Set besteht aus zwei Sesseln, einem Dreisitzer-Sofa und einem kleinen Sofatisch. Durch die schönen Rückseiten, können die Möbel sehr gut frei im Raum gestellt werden. Die weißen Schalen aus glasfaserverstärktem Kunststoff wurden gereinigt und zeigen leichte altersbedingte Gebrauchsspuren, wie kleine Abplatzer an Kanten, die aber sanft retuschiert wurden. Die Sitzkonstruktion aus einer Federkernbasis sind in gutem Zustand. Die lose aufliegenden Sitzkissen mit beigem Wildleder-Bezug wurden mit neuen Daunen und Latexflocken gefüllt. Das Wildleder weist eine wunderschöne Patina mit Ausbleichungen und Flecken auf, die dem Set einen einzigartigen Charme verleihen. Rams is considered one of the most influential industrial designers of the 20th century, known for his "less but better" approach that shaped the principles of modern minimalism. The modular 620 series allows for versatile configurations and stands as a prime example of German functional design and craftsmanship. This particular set includes a 3-seater sofa, two armchairs, and a matching side table. With their finished backs, all pieces are designed to be placed freely in an open space. The white fiberglass-reinforced plastic shells have been professionally cleaned and show minor age-related wear, including a few small edge chips that were carefully retouched. The seat suspension with coil springs is in good condition. The loose cushions are upholstered in beige suede and have been newly refilled with a mix of down and latex flakes. The suede shows a natural patina with fading and spots, giving the set a distinctive and warm vintage character.
