Welcome!!! You are looking at an original String Plex oak veneer cabinet with 2 sliding doors, 2 oak veneer shelves and 2 black metal ladders with plastic coating by Kajsa & Nils Nisse Strinning 1969. The original brand stickers have faded over the years but I still have the original flyers, price list. Copies of the 1969 price list including measurements, the price quote and an original flyer are included with the purchase. There is also a matching Nisse String wall rack for sale.
Pretty hard to capture the colors exactly in photo as the color of the wood changes with light and position and none are the same. These photos were taken indoors and outdoors in broad daylight. Furthermore, the color also depends on how you place the String furniture in your room, what you will put in and or on it and whether you use natural or artificial light or both.
The cabinet is in fairly good VINTAGE condition and is fit for use. Wear consistent with age and use. Traces of use such as scratches and light bumps in the coating of the ladders. Small patched veneer on the door edges that slides into the slots. The hardboard back wall of the cabinet has a homemade hole used for the plug.
