Handblown in richly smoked glass with a high-gloss finish, its thick walls are deeply lobed and punctuated by molten prunts—applied handles or "ears"—that give the vase a tactile, almost baroque energy. The undulating rim nods to the classic "fazzoletto" (handkerchief) style but veers into a more robust, modernist vocabulary, suggesting a closer kinship with the work of Antonio da Ros (Cenedese) or Flavio Poli (Seguso Vetri d’Arte).
