Jacques BLIN

His drawings seduce because they touch the public, but also make them smile. The curves and shapes are precise and perfectly balanced. Thanks to the intaglio technique (engraving on dry clay), the enamel has a look that can be described as parietal. Biography Jacques Blin was born in France in 1920. He qualified as an aeronautical engineer, but chose to make his passion his profession. In 1954, he opened his own ceramics workshop. That same year, he exhibited at the Salon des Céramistes et des Métiers d'Art and at the Maison de la Chimie. An artist deeply committed to defending his art, he became vice-president of the International Academy of Ceramics in Geneva. He was also President of the Chambre syndicale des céramistes et ateliers d'art de France for twenty years.
