He obtained an engineer diploma, however he chose to live from his passion. So in 1954, he founded his own ceramic workshop. The same year, he exhibited his creations during shows dedicated to ceramists and art professions, and at the Maison de la Chimie (a place dedicated to chemistry). He was a really committed to defending art ceramic, he became vice-president of the international academy of ceramic in Geneva. He was also president at the Chambre Syndicale of ceramists and art workshop during twenty years.
