She pays close attention to the aesthetics of furniture, to its sobriety, but also to the place it occupies within the home. Her most significant works include the Oikos system, a storage unit adaptable to all types of room, and the Driade 1, Kaos and Pantos systems designed in 1968 for Driade. Antonia Astori was born near Milan in 1940. She graduated in visual and industrial design from the Athenaeum school in Lausanne. She soon began designing furniture for Driade. She enjoyed great success with her modular systems, and the Oikos model is now a benchmark for this type of furniture. It is equally at home in a living room, bedroom, kitchen or office. His work has repeatedly been featured at events such as the Milan Triennales and the "Abitare il tempo" fairs in Verona. In 1984, the famous fashion designers Marithé and François Girbaud called on his skills for the interior design of their store on rue Etienne Marcel in Paris.
