Not only has he succeeded in combining architecture and design, he has also succeeded in offering highly modern creations. Under the creation, publishing and distribution company he founded, some very fine pieces have seen the light of day. He has designed desks, sideboards, chairs and tables. Georges Frydman was born in France in 1924. He quickly developed a passion for interior furnishings after meeting Le Corbusier, the architect and designer he admired. In 1954, he founded Equipement Fonctionnel de l'Habitation, which later became EFA. In Nice, he organized a showroom dedicated to his company, and the journalist André Bloc noticed his work and praised it in his magazine L'Architecture d'Aujourd'hui. In 1966, Frydman was awarded the renowned René Gabriel prize, which honors designers of high-quality, economical mass-produced furniture lines.
