After graduating, Rizzato worked for several major design companies in Italy, including Artemide, Boffi, and Driade. In 1991, he founded his own design studio, Studio Rizzato, based in Milan. Over the years, Paolo Rizzato has become renowned for his innovative creations in interior design, lighting, furniture and decoration. He has won several awards for his work, including the prestigious Compasso d'Oro in 2004 for his design of the "Uovo" lamp for FontanaArte. His creations are often characterized by clean, minimalist forms, careful attention to materials and textures, and innovative functional and aesthetic solutions. Paolo Rizzato is considered one of Italy's most influential and internationally renowned designers. His creations are exhibited in numerous galleries and museums around the world, and form part of many private and public collections.
