In 1967, he joined Giroflex, a company specialized in the manufacture of ergonomic office chairs. He worked there for over 40 years as chief designer, contributing to the creation of several iconic office chair models. Albert Stoll is renowned for designing innovative seating that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing. His Giroflex 64 chair, launched in 1979, is considered a classic of Swiss design. It is still produced today and is widely used in office environments around the world. Throughout his career, Albert Stoll won numerous awards and distinctions for his work in industrial design, including the prestigious Swiss Design Prize in 1994. He passed away in 2015, leaving behind a lasting legacy in the world of office seating design.
