Andersson studied design at Stockholm University and began his career working for the renowned Swedish design company Svenskt Tenn. He later opened his own design studio, where he created furniture, textiles and household objects for numerous Swedish companies. Andersson's design style was characterized by clean lines, organic forms and the use of natural materials such as wood and leather. He also incorporated geometric patterns and bright colors into his designs. Andersson won numerous awards for his work, including the Lunning Prize in 1955 and the bronze medal at the Milan Triennale in 1960. Today, his creations are considered icons of modern Swedish design and are exhibited in museums around the world.
