After completing his studies, George van Rijck went to work for Philips Design in Eindhoven, where he worked on projects for clients such as Shell, Kodak and Nokia. In 1991, he set up his own industrial design studio in Rotterdam, working on a variety of projects from furniture to consumer electronics.
Over the years, George van Rijck has won numerous awards for his industrial design work, including the prestigious Red Dot Award and the iF Product Design Award. In 2001, he was appointed Professor of Industrial Design at Delft University of Technology, where he taught for several years.
Today, George van Rijck continues to work as an independent industrial designer, collaborating with companies worldwide to create innovative and functional products. His work is characterized by a minimalist and sustainable approach, with an emphasis on functionality and timeless aesthetics.
