He is best known for his lighting designs, such as the Eclisse lamp, the Nesso lamp and the Mezzolombardo lamp. The Eclisse lamp, designed in 1967, is considered one of Bozzi's most iconic creations. This lamp is known for its simple, functional design, with a half-sphere-shaped shade that can be rotated to adjust light intensity. Bozzi won numerous awards during his career, including the prestigious Compasso d'Oro in 1967 for the Eclisse lamp. His creations have also been exhibited in numerous museums and galleries around the world. During his lifetime, Augusto Bozzi made a significant contribution to the development of Italian industrial design and left an important legacy in the field of designer lighting.
