Roger Fatus

During the 50s, the 60s and the 70s, he designed several lamps characterized by elegant and refined curves. He is also the designer of metal chairs for adults and children. Biography Roger Fatus was born in France in 1926. He studied at the Superior National School of Decorative Arts and he graduated in 1953. Two years later, he worked for Jacques Dumond. In 1953, he exposed his work during the Decorative Arts Show and he contributed to the layout of the Paris pavilion for the Brussels World Fair in 1958. During the same year, he designed pieces of furniture for different manufacturers. He was also responsible for several interior design projects (Pathé Marconi, FNAC, Novotel…). He also has been the director of the Camondo School during the 1980s. He received many rewards such as the National Furniture Grand Prize in 1967 and the René Gabriel prize in 1969.
