About this vintage design furniture
Classic Danish mid century 3 seat sofa by Georg Thams for Vejen Polstermøbelfabrik: Thams Kvalitiet. High quality thick top grain leather. Great patina and wear throughout but no crazing or cracking. Sits on mahogany feet. Maker label attached.

About the designer
Georg THAMS
Georg Thams was a German industrial designer born in 1935 in Flensburg and died in 2016 in Tønder, Denmark. He studied at the Flensburg School of Applied Arts and began his career working as a carpenter before turning to industrial design.
