Beautiful Raak globe floor lamp. This style icon was designed in the 1950s by Frank Ligtelijn for the Raak company in Amsterdam. The idea of the aluminum fixture over which a glass globe is placed was produced in different versions (pendant lamps, wall lamps, floor lamps). The glass used was produced in three shades, namely; gray-violet, brown smoked glass and clear. Lamps from this series were produced until the 1970s. The lamp we offer here is a floor lamp, made with brown smoked glass. The lamp is adjustable in height and rests on a cast iron base. The lamp has an E27 socket and a black cord with switch and a white European 2-pin plug. Dimensions: Minimum height: 120 cm. Maximum height: 165 cm. Width bulb holder: approximately 27 cm. Depth of bulb holder: approximately 24.5 cm. Base diameter: approximately 42 cm. The lamp is in good vintage condition. Photo 10 shows this lamp together with two pendant lamps from the same series, which we also offer (if not sold).
