About this vintage design furniture
There are a number of versions of the Postsparkasse Sessel. The original dates from around 1900. It was designed by the Austrian architect Otto Wagner for the Postsparkasse building in Vienna. This version of the chair equals no. 6516 and no. 6526 as depicted in the Thonet catalogue of 1910 and is a 1990s re-edition. Black lacquered wood and green leather seat.
