Sofa set by Søren Hansen. Stained beech wood. Produced by Danish furniture manufacturer Fritz Hansen in about 1950. Dark blue cotton fabric. Buttons and neck pillow of blue artificial leather. Original springs in the seat. Dimensions: sofa (H 82 cm, SH 39 cm, B 140 cm, D 75cm) high-backed armchair (H 100 cm, SH 40 cm, B 68 cm, D 75cm) low backrest chair (H 81 cm, SH 40 cm, B 68 cm, D 75cm)

About the designer
Søren HANSEN
Søren Hansen was a Danish designer who was born in 1922 and died in 2005. He studied at the Royal Danish School of Fine Arts in Copenhagen and began his career working as an apprentice to Arne Jacobsen, one of the most influential designers of the 20th century.
