About this vintage design furniture

Jerry Fels (1919-2007) & Curtis Freiler (born 1910) designed this large "asteroid" sculpture under the pseudonym of Curtis Jere. It is made of chromed steel, with a central sphere, bristling with long hollow cylindrical tubes. Diameter: 70 cm. Height with stand: 100 cm. A tube has been changed and is not original.

Curtis JERE

Curtis Jere was an American design duo consisting of Curtis Freiler and Jerry Fels, who worked together from 1963 to 2008. Their brand name, "Curtis Jere", is a combination of their first names. They are best known for their metal wall and interior sculptures, which were mass-produced from the 1960s onwards.
