About this vintage design furniture
This armchair by Jan Vanek for Krasna Jizba was produced during the 1950s. This chair comes with an adjustable backrest. It is made of oak with hemp straps. It has been reupholstered with a coconut fiber upholstery fabric from the English company Colefax and Fowler. Completely restored. Seat height: 42cm.

Jan Vanek was a Czech industrial designer born in Prague in 1940 and died in 2011. He studied at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague, graduating in 1964.
